Hello. I'm Al Carty and am wandering around trying to negotiate the site. There's a lot to see here. I'm retired from California State Parks, senior groundskeeper. We moved to the high plains of New Mexico and love it here. I'm still cleaning up a western novel that I hope some one will look at. It's written in first person, in cowboy vernacular. I might have gone a little heavy on the dialect, so I'm going back and tweaking it. I'll build some credit before I start posting.

Pay close attention to the publishing section. In particular the "Into the Dark" string. We are in the process of putting out a stunning Sci-Fi, and have several more in process.

Also stay tuned in to the slush pile, to see where folks test the waters with their toes.

I'm way behind, but the monthly contest is beginning to gain momentum again, and I hope to have a new prompt ready any moment now.
